Your words are powerful. What is expressed through your words is who you become.
Each word you choose to speak influences how you show up in life; either supporting or detracting from the essence of who you are.
How you speak influences how you feel about yourself, and the presence you create amongst others.
Your words influence your flow of thoughts and behaviours, and can inspire you to greater things.
For me, I appreciate quality over quantity. Akin to the old saying “if you don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all”; the spaces between words as just as important as the words themselves.
When you can include words in your vocabulary that uplift, inspire, encourage and bring out the best in who you are, you’ll start feeling that inspiration and momentum expanding from within you.
Likewise, when you can remove words from your vocabulary that are out of alignment with who you know yourself to be (or are simply unnecessary), you create space for more of your authentic voice to shine through.
Start listening with curiosity to the words you speak, and notice: which ones are serving you (and others) and which ones are not?
